AROUND THE WORLD IN 60 MINUTES VIDEO CONFERENCING PROJECT BRIEF

Preparation prior to VC

1.        Each class will create a travel agency

2.       Each class will create a journey around the world from their home country to the partner school’s country.

3.       On their journey they must pass through a set number of countries e.g. 10 countries.

4.       Each class will create clues, in a format of their choice, for the partner school to solve so that they can identify the journey taken by the other class.

Video Conference Agenda – Suggested Activities

1. Initial introductions between the classes/schools.
2. Each class will present their clues for the journey around the world.
3. Each partner class will then be given a set amount of time during the video conference to solve the clues. E.g. 30 – 45 mins
4. Each class will present their answers to the clues and the host class will confirm if the answers are correct.
5. Closing comments and thank you.
