GUESS MY PET VIDEO CONFERENCING PROJECT BRIEF

Preparation prior to VC

1. Each class will research what type of pets they have and the needs of each pet.
2. Each class will produce graphs showing the types of pets and their needs.
3. Each child will take photos/videos of their pets and their belongings.
4. Each child will give a presentation /talk about their pet.
5. Each child/group will devise a list of clues for the other class to guess the pet.

2. Pictures/videos of pets and their belongings
3. Digital cameras/camcorders (optional)

Video Conference Agenda – Suggested Activities

1. Initial introductions between the classes/schools.
2. Each class will present the clues/information to the other class using a mixture of riddles, pictures, belongings, name etc for them to try and work out what the pet is.
3. Each partner group will then have time to work on the clues and determine the pet.
4. Each group will present their answers.
5. The host group will give a short presentation about the pet and confirm if the guess is correct.  Real pets may be used where appropriate.
6. Closing comments and thank you.
