TEDDY’S TRAVELS VIDEO CONFERENCING PROJECT BRIEF

NB THIS IS A TWO SESSION VIDEO CONFERENCE
Video Conference 1:-
Preparation prior to VC
- Each class decides upon a teddy they wish to present to the partner class as ‘their special friend’
- The classes create a description of their teddy and what he/she likes to do

- Description of the teddy
Video Conference Agenda – Suggested Activities
- Initial introductions between the classes/schools.
- Each class will introduce their ‘special friend’ teddy to the partner class and present the description of their teddy.
- Q and A session to follow each presentation so each class can clarify any misunderstandings about the teddy or ask for any further information before they receive the teddy.
- Closing comments and thank you.
NB FOLLOWING THE FIRST VIDEO CONFERENCE EACH TEDDY NEEDS TO BE SENT TO THE PARTNER CLASS FOR ‘AN ADVENTURE’
Video Conference 2:-
Preparation prior to VC
- The visiting teddy will undertake several adventures whilst with the partner class.
- A diary of everything the visiting teddy does will be kept describing all the activities he/she has been involved in – this diary can be written, photographic, filmed, audio etc.
- After the agreed amount of time the visiting teddy plus a copy of all the diary evidence must be sent back to the home class.

Video Conference Agenda – Suggested Activities
- Greetings to each class and returned teddy
- Each partner school will present the diary information – highlighting what the visiting teddy did whilst with them.
- Q and A session from each home school based on the diary or anything else linked to the teddy visit they wish to know.
- Thankyou and Goodbyes.
