TUDOR EXPLORERS CONFERENCING PROJECT BRIEF
(idea provided by Linda Livesey– New Inn Primary School, Torfaen)

Preparation prior to VC

1.   Each school is allocated a famous Tudor /16th Century explorer to research- when they lived, where they travelled and what they discovered.

2.   Each school then uses the information learned about the  explorer and creates various resources to present to the other school e.g. a quiz, a role play, story, animation etc

Resources

1.    Internet access

2.   Various resources according to the choice of how to present the information to the other school. E.g. Role play clothes, animation software, artefacts etc

3.   Digital cameras/camcorders (optional)

Video Conference Agenda – Suggested Activities

            1.   Initial introductions between the classes/schools.

2.   Presentation by each school of their research about the explorer

3.  Q and A session

4.   Closing comments and thank you.
